- Needles are sorted in sterilized packages. They are used only once and disposed of in a safe container
- A fresh pair of gloves is always used for each process; we make sure the piercer washes hands and sanitize before wearing the gloves
- Nonallergenic jewelry such as stainless steel, gold, platinum, niobium, and titanium are the only jewelry used in the new piercing; we avoid jewelry made of nickel or brass plated.
- We make sure the equipment’s; non-disposable supplies are sterilized with a heat sterilization machine (autoclave) disinfected after every use with a commercial disinfectant or bleach solution
