Piercing Process

The piercing process is very straightforward and fuss free. First, a fresh piercing needle and the jewel to be pierced are both sterilized. The area of the nose is marked for precision and local anesthesia is applied on the region. A sterilized receiving tube and the needle are then inserted into the nostril and the jewel is added, hence completing the piercing process.

Do's and Don’ts

After the piercing procedure, clean the area at least twice a day, using tea tree oil or sea salt to prevent infections. Do not share nose jewels with others as it may cause infections. Avoid the use of hydrogen peroxide as it may cause irritation. Do not meddle with the nose jewel as it might hamper the healing process.
