Ryan Ashley DiCristina (née Malarkey), born on April 29, 1987, in Dallas, Pennsylvania, is a world-famous American tattoo artist known for her unique black-and-gray tattoo style featuring lace, beadwork, and ornamental jewel designs. She gained international recognition after becoming the first woman to win Ink Master in Season 8 (2016). Influenced by her artistic mother, Ryan studied fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where she graduated in 2007 with a Critic’s Choice Award. After several years in the fashion industry, she transitioned into tattooing and co-founded The Strange and Unusual Oddities Parlor in Pennsylvania, where she developed her now-iconic style.
